Vivid Vlogging Episode 4 - Social Media Content: What to Post?!
Welcome to Vivid Vlogging Episode 4! Today I talk about how to fill your content calendar without just spamming your audience with photos of your product. Creating a content calendar is so important to making your social media strategy work for your business - posting whatever catches your fancy, whenever you feel like it, just isn't going to cut it. In this video I explain the difference between time-bound and evergreen content, and how to use both to fill your content calendar without annoying your audience or feeling repetitive. Vivid Vlogging: Episode 3! Social Media Strategy
How does social media help your business? Not much, if you don't have a plan. I talk about how your social media channels support your business goals and how to use them in the best ways for potential customers in each part of your sales funnel. Social media shouldn't be your only marketing tool, but it's a vital one! Social media can help accomplish 4 major goals of your sales funnel: 1) Build Brand Visibility (familiarity and brand trust comes from consistency) 2) Provide Value (position yourself as the provider of your product) 3) Build Community (engage in conversations around your brand) 4) Customer Service (keep engaging your current customers) Don't forget to like, subscribe, and comment what you liked, didn't like, and want to see in future vlogs - and follow us on our other social media channels! facebook.com/vividsmm instagram.com/vividsocialmedia twitter.com/vividsmm linkedin.com/company/vivid-social-media-management
Vivid Vlogging: Episode Two! How To Plan Social Media for Businesses 101
This episode I talk about how business owners can make their social media work for them, instead of the other way around! You don't need to be tied to your phone every minute or obsess over remembering to update your feeds all throughout the day. Scheduling tools can help you plan and automate your social media posts so you don't have to do everything manually! The one I usually recommend for small business owners just starting out with scheduling is Hootsuite (hootsuite.com) as they have a free version that allows 3 social media accounts - so one for Facebook, one for Instagram, and one for Twitter, if that's where your business has social media accounts. This is all that most small business owners really need. Do you have a different tool that you use that works for you? Tell me in the comments! I also talk about how to optimize your posts for each platform (hint: don't auto-share directly from Instagram!) so you look like you know what you're doing and can maximize the eyeballs looking at your content. You work too hard to waste time and effort on something that isn't effective! If this still seems like more work than you're wanting to do, look into outsourcing your business' social media management needs. Go to our website at vividsocial.net and fill out the quote request form, and we will generate a custom quote for your specific needs. You don't have to be local to Elizabeth City, NC, either - the beauty of social media is that all you need is a wifi connection and we can be in business! As always, like, subscribe, and turn on notifications to get alerted for each new vlog! Share this video with your entrepreneur or personal branding friends who are struggling with social media! And let me know in the comments what you'd like to see in future vlogs!
